Curriculum
Flexible, Standards-Aligned Programs to Support Student Wellness, Focus, and Engagement
Starlight Studio partners with schools to offer ready-to-implement curriculum and enrichment programming in yoga, mindfulness, and youth archery—all thoughtfully designed to fit seamlessly into your existing school schedule. Our evidence-informed lessons support physical education, social-emotional learning (SEL), and whole-child development, making them ideal for use during PE classes, enrichment blocks, advisory periods, or summer programming.
Each program offers short, flexible lesson formats that are easy to integrate and engaging for students. Whether you're looking to fill a gap in movement-based learning or enhance current wellness initiatives, Starlight’s plug-and-play approach ensures a smooth rollout with minimal prep and maximum impact.
Mindful Archery
Mindful Archery teaches kids (ages 9+) the art of focus, balance, and breath through the practice of archery. As they learn to steady their body and mind, children build confidence, patience, and awareness—on the range and beyond.

Archery curriculum can be purchased as a stand-alone programming or segments to enhance pre-planned programs. Curriculum is available for a variety of ages 11-15 and 16-18 and is all designed to be developmentally appropriate and easy to deliver.
Yoga Curriculum
Our kid-centered yoga class curriculum helps kids to learn to recognize and move with and through their emotions. Through songs, games, and playful movement, children build confidence, patience, and calm—while having fun every step of the way.

20 Minute Yoga Lessons for the Classroom
No prior yoga experience is needed to lead these sessions. Every lesson is scripted, accessible, and easy to follow. With only about five minutes of prep required, educators, caregivers, and therapists can quickly and confidently bring meaningful mind-body activities into their day. Each lesson is adaptable in length, offering flexible pacing from 18 to 30 minutes so you can meet the needs, energy levels, and attention spans of the children in front of you.

About Rachael Gage
Founder of Starlight Studio | Certified Children’s Yoga Instructor | Waldorf Movement Educator | E-RYT 200
Rachael Gage is a highly trained yoga and mindfulness educator with a strong background in child development, movement education, and trauma-informed teaching. She is the founder of Starlight Studio, which offers evidence-informed programming that blends children’s yoga, mindful movement, and emotional regulation tools for schools, park districts, and family-focused organizations.
Rachael holds an E-RYT 200 certification through Yoga Alliance and is certified to teach children through Rainbow Kids Yoga. Her work is grounded in both practical teaching experience and cultural competence—shaped in part by an immersive sabbatical in Mysore, India, where she deepened her studies in classical yoga philosophy and breathwork.
She currently teaches Games and Movement at a Waldorf Grade School and partners with local park districts across Illinois to expand access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate wellness programs for children and caregivers. With years of experience teaching in diverse educational settings, Rachael brings professionalism, creativity, and deep expertise to every collaboration.
